Berry Cottage Cheese Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cottage cheese 

  • 1 cup mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 1 cup almond milk or preferred milk

  • 2 tsp honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)


Directions

  1. In a blender, add the cottage cheese and blend until smooth. 

  2. Add the berries, banana, almond milk, and honey/syrup; blend until smooth.

  3. Pour into a glass and garnish with chia seeds if desired. 


Tips-n-Tricks

  • Serve in a chilled glass. 

  • Cottage cheese and almond milk are typically gluten-free, but check the labels if you are sensitive or have celiac disease. 

  • Chia seeds are an excellent way to increase fiber content and add a delightful texture to smoothies.
